Our remanufacturing business is unique in that, unlike conventional machine tool rebuilders, we specialize in only one brand of machine tool, namely grinders originally manufactured by the Heald Machine Division of Cincinnati Milacron. This ranges from the high production type, to toolroom models, to special application grinders, of which Heald manufactured literally thousands. No other company in the world can profess the level of Heald Machine expertise and product knowledge, as we have over 1,000 total man-years of Heald experience.

SNI has been very successful at correcting known deficiencies associated with older Heald machines, in addition to improving their overall performance. We can incorporate modern controls (CNC- or PLC-based), apply superior dresser systems, improved guarding, and other technologies. Even our treatment of the machine elements that are retained take into consideration the dozens of fine-points that were overlooked by the OEM for years. The results are rebuilt/remanufactured grinders competitive with brand-new machines.

We offer remanufacturing on the entire Heald product line including:
